Firearms For Females: This 8 hour class is available periodically to citizens of Madison County to help familiarize you with your handgun, as well as teach valuable safety lessons, and educate the public on laws governing handguns, their use, and carrying permits.
Car Safety Seat Inspections: The Madison County Sheriff's Office has 14 Nationally Certified Child Safety Seat Technicians. At least one is available Monday through Friday during our normal business hours. Periodically the Sheriff's Office, along with Madison County EMS and technicians from neighboring counties conduct Child Safety Seat Inspection Checkpoints which are open to the public to stop in and have your Child Safety Seat inspected for proper use and to ensure there are no recalls on your seat.
